August
21st, 2010 - Third annual
Pacific Northwest Chapter pump-in and apparatus show at
Horseshoe Lake in Woodland, Washington. Come
out and join us for our third apparatus display and pump-in at
Horseshoe Lake Park, located in Woodland, Washington. The park
is just off I-5 and offers a large display area and access to
water for those who want to pump their apparatus. Last year's
event attracted quite a few pieces of apparatus and we would
like to see even more rigs at this years show. This event, which
is co-hosted by the Woodland Fire Department, attracts plenty of
visitors, as it is a city park and in easy view of the
interstate freeway.
Local
Car Shows and Parades
Are
you looking for a place to show off your antique fire
vehicle at something other than a SPAAMFAA event? Take a
look at this list of cars shows in the Northwest and find
a show close to your home. Although you may have the only
fire vehicle at the show, it will be a hit, as everyone
likes looking at old fire engines. Even the hot rod guys
can't walk by without asking questions. This is a perfect
opportunity to promote our organization.
